Makaraka school in gisborne has just been to whangara on their annual leadership camp. The senior year 5 and 6’s went on the 20th of February and returned on the 22nd while they were there they did many Activity. The one that was the blast was kayaking.
The children slowly walk in the blazing hot sun up and over the hill. The kids where Exhausted they got there and the children raced down the hill and grabbed a kayak and hopt in the water. After a wait there were some accident but they were ok there was a really bad think that happened Mr Swan the principal of the school lost his phone in the river that is a disaster for him. The principal got his snorkel and began the search.
Some of the kids think it was odd that the principal was snorkeling in the river so a boy called max siad what are you doing the principal said am snorkeling because i lost my phone when i was kayaking because i tept. Max said he will help him find it. So he porod someones goges and began searching. They were bobbing up and down like ducks the kids said and so funny.
Sadly they had don’t found the prisebles phone yet they were so desperate to find it. Some people where getting clod and proney there were existed and even some were getting bored. They where just about to give up when max said he felt something with his foot and he pulled it up and it was the prisbills phone!!! Yayy shoulded averbode.
Sadly it was time the go the kid were tired and exhausted and hungry. The kids slow walked home sadly gazing down at the river bowl as they drained leg walked home. They said it was a lot of fun.
